Bio
I took my first Spanish Class in High School and immediately became enamored with the beautiful language and vibrant culture. Now, I would love to share my passion for language learning with you. I am a native English speaker and I am fluent in Spanish.

I have a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Spanish with a California Single Subject Teaching Credential in Spanish and a CLAD (English as a Second Language Development) Certificate. In addition, I have training in Kagan Cooperative Learning which encompasses my approach to student involvement and language acquisition.

I lived in Mexico for two years and continue to use Spanish daily with family, friends, and students. My husband and I have raised two children bilingually.

I have 20+ years' experience teaching Spanish and ESL (English as a Second Language) at the Adult, High School, and Elementary levels. I have taught English to learners with many different native languages.
I taught ESL and Spanish for 19 years at an Adult School in Silicon Valley, CA to Adults in the community and to In-Custody students at a Correctional Facility.

In the spring of 2020 I launched Road to Languages. I find online instruction to be fun, fruitful, and effective.

I love learning and teaching languages and I am passionate about sharing this love of languages and culture with my students.
